Durant Public Schools is proud to offer online enrollment. The enrollment/application process can be done on any computer, tablet or even your smart phone. If you do not have access to one of these, please make arrangements with a friend, family member or perhaps the public library to complete the process. Please take a few minutes to watch the video below for a demonstration on how this process works. It will answer many of the questions you might have.
It is recommended that you have the following items ready to upload (photos or scanned on the device you are using) before you start the online process:

Students entering the Durant Independent School District (regardless of grade level) must be accompanied by a parent or legal custodian & meet the following admission requirements at the beginning of the current school year:

The following documents must be brought with the parent or legal custodian of the student(s) on the day of enrollment. Students may not attend classes until the following day.

Northwest Heights and Washington Irving house grades K-3. Robert E. Lee is PreK. Durant ISD is zoned for attendance areas as per this map. In the center of the district is an overlap area, in which students may choose to attend either NWH or WI, based on availability. When selecting housing, refer to the map for your attendance zone. If your housing is in a border area, please be sure to verify your attendance zone with the school district or the Bryan County Assessor’s Office, as the map is only a close representation.
