OK Information Act
Oklahoma House Bill 2698 is a new law requiring government agencies to make more legislative information available via their website. Please visit the Oklahoma State Department of Education School Laws website for this information.
Enrollment Announcements
DISD would like to remind everyone that school starts on August 12. Students attending any campuses should enroll as soon as possible.
Remember, ALL STUDENTS will need proof of residency to complete the enrollment process.
If you are a Transfer Student, you must complete paperwork at the Durant Schools Administration office prior to enrolling. For more information about transfer students, contact Myra at 924-1276.
New Students to the District:
All new students, including Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten students who are new to the district may pick up enrollment packets at the elementary school in their home attendance zone. New students will also need to provide a birth certificate and current immunization record, as well as proof of residency.
Current Students in the District
Should have received an enrollment packet and should return it to their home school as soon as possible, if you have not done so already.

New High School Construction Progress
The Durant Public School District has officially broken ground on the new Durant High School and initial phases of construction have already begun. In order to keep the community informed, a status report will be posted monthly.
